History
Welcome to Digana Milk Factory, your trusted source for
premium dairy products since our relocation from Pallekele
to Digana in 1987. Originally starting with just 55
dedicated staff and processing 4,000 to 5,000 liters of
milk daily, we have significantly evolved. Today, our
state-of-the-art facility boasts a remarkable daily
processing capacity of 50,000 liters.
Our Facilities
Our factory underwent extensive renovations and upgrades
between 2018 and 2019, including the addition of modern
infrastructure and an ice cream processing unit. In 2014,
we adopted novel UHT technology, allowing us to meet the
growing demand for liquid milk, particularly in the
central, north-central, and northwestern provinces of Sri
Lanka.
In addition to ice cream and UHT milk, we proudly produce
a variety of dairy products, including set yoghurts, curd,
and specially Highland cheese which is a unique product to
Digana’ factory .
With a workforce of 214 dedicated professionals, we
operate six days a week, ensuring our commitment to
quality and excellence in every product. At Digana Milk
